NIG appoints former Axa regional director to lead in Manchester

NIG has appointed Warren Bainbridge as area business development manager (ABDM) for its Manchester office with business development responsibility for the Greater Manchester region as well North Wales, Merseyside and Lancashire.

Mr Bainbridge was previously regional director for the North West at Axa with responsibility for the Bolton and Manchester offices and left the insurer in the summer of last year. He will report to NIG's director of sales and distribution, Dave Parry.

Mr Bainbridge commented: "There is a huge opportunity to work with brokers across the region and their SME clients. The North West is a dynamic region and I know that NIG can substantially develop its business with its core SME client base.
