Labour would force insurers to offer telematics
Insurers could be forced to offer telematics to potential clients under a new proposal from Shadow transport minister, John Woodcock.
Labour has said it would consider forcing every insurance company to offer drivers at least one black box product unless they can voluntarily roll out the technology much more quickly over the next year.
Mr Woodcock has argued that greater availability of black boxes would help responsible younger drivers to prove that they are safer than the average for their age.
