Brightside's Holman hits out at slow approach to DVLA access
Brightside Group has hit out at the insurance industry for not securing access to the DVLA database sooner than it is.
The broking group has argued that honest drivers are losing out on cheaper car insurance through a failure of the insurance industry to make immediate changes to the way applications are validated.
The Association of British Insurers recently announced that in 2014 the DVLA would open up its database to the insurance industry, in a bid to seek a solution to the rising costs of car insurance.
The intention is that, with access to the database, insurers would have access to greater risk
