Higos embarks on expansion plan with new Exeter branch

Higos Insurance Services is to open a new high street operation in Exeter in mid-June.

Ian Gosden, managing director at Higos, said the decision was made to open its 19th branch “from scratch” because “nobody was selling in Exeter”.

He added: “There’s a twenty month target for [the new office] to cover its costs.

“If it goes well, we would hope to open three or four new businesses each year.”

He also clarified that acquisitions remained an option: “But we won’t be walking away from any acquisitions, we’re still open to taking on other businesses.”
