Zurich GI CEO to leave

Mario Greco

Zurich Insurance Group has confirmed that Mario Greco, chief executive officer for general insurance, has decided to return to Italy to assume the role of Generali Group CEO.

The provider said that Mr Greco will be on leave with immediate effect and that group CEO Martin Senn will head the general insurance segment on an interim basis until a permanent replacement is announced.

Mr Senn commented: "I would like to thank Mario for all he has done for Zurich. He has done an excellent job as CEO of both general insurance and global life.
