North Yorkshire-based brokers join forces
Two North Yorkshire insurance brokers have merged to create a company with an estimated £10m turnover.
PB Curran & Co and Associated Insurance Services (AIS) have joined forces in a bid to boost their offerings in the region.
The merger - which was advised by York law firm Denison Till - will see AIS owner David Savagar and staff switch to PB Curran's offices.
PB Curran managing director Edward Curran, who will run the business, which will continue to trade as PB Curran, explained: "This exciting merger creates a stronger team of like-minded staff with a focus on delivering a top-quality service
