Arsenal footballer fined for driving without insurance

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been fined almost £5,000 for driving without a licence and insurance.

The Daily Mail reported that the 24 year-old Danish international was pulled over by police in South Tyneside in May 2012, and was discovered to be driving his Audi Q7 without insurance or a licence.

He was charged with driving without the correct licence, using a vehicle without insurance and two counts of driving a vehicle with a registration mark that does not conform with regulations.
