Insurance cheat jailed for 'crash for cash' scam
An insurance cheat behind a multi-million pound 'crash for cash' swindle has been sentenced to seven years and three months in prison.
Masi Naqshbandi, 27, from Notting Hill, West London, was found guilty at Croydon Crown Court of faking hundreds of road traffic accidents in a bid to make insurance claims worth more than £6.5m.
His accomplice, Saboon Hillaman, 24, from Greenford, Middlesex, was also found guilty of conspiracy to defraud and was handed a sentence of four years and ten months.
The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) said the pair used the proceeds of their scams to fund a "lavish lifestyle" which included drving luxury
