Chartis builds cyber liability offering

Chartis has appointed Jamie Bouloux to the newly created role of cyber liability underwriting manager for Europe.

The provider claimed the move to appoint its first dedicated manager for the line of business reinforced its commitment to the cyber market.

Mr Bouloux has transferred from Chartis in New York where he was an executive liability underwriter and cyber product leader.

"Cyber risk is now a key concern for risk managers - and with good reason," commented Shanil Williams, vice president, financial lines at Chartis in Europe.
