Autonet pairs with CDL to offer online car history search

frustrated-at-computer

Autonet Insurance has joined forces with CDL to develop software which will enable consumers to check a vehicle’s history using its registration number.

The broker’s website will feature a facility allowing users to enter a car’s registration number, which will in turn give them access to information such as recorded accident damage, or whether it has been registered as stolen.

The information is sourced from several databases including the DVLA, the Association of British Insurers and the Police National Computer for recorded stolen vehicles.

Users will have three options as to the level of information the search provides.
