Wilby merges with Huddersfield broker in drive for growth
Wilby has merged with Huddersfield-based Ainley’s Insurance Brokers, and recruited four new members of staff.
Geoff Otty and Ian McCaul, who set up Ainley’s 22 years ago, will move to Wilby’s premises in Halifax along with the rest of their team.
And Wilby has appointed Kevin Barrett as a risk management consultant, Caroline Gunning as a corporate account handler, Caroline Reynolds as a scheme account handler and Paul Stanislawski-Doyle as a personal lines broker.
The broker has also taken on business studies student Sarah Gibson as part of its partnership with Huddersfield University.
