Biba launches manifesto for 'year of change'

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has launched its 2013 manifesto entitled Meeting the Growth Challenge.

Jonathan Evans MP, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Insurance and Financial Services, hosted a reception for the launch, held at the House of Commons.

According to Biba, the manifesto, created after consultation with Biba’s committees and members, is “aligned with the government’s growth agenda” and covers issues such as regulation, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and helping customers access insurance.

Graeme Trudgill, the trade body’s head of corporate affairs, said
