Ecclesiastical reveals Hews as group CEO
Ecclesiastical has appointed Mark Hews as group chief executive officer with immediate effect, replacing Michael Tripp whose plans for retirement were announced in January.
Mr Hews joined Ecclesiastical in April 2009 as group chief financial officer and executive director of Ecclesiastical.
According to the provider, over the past four years he has played a major role in transforming the business, managing and leading a number of significant initiatives which have enhanced the group's financial strength and profitability.
It listed these as including leading a successful capital raising exercise and the transformation of Ecclesiastical Investment Management.
