HCC promotes Button to chief underwriting officer
HCC Insurance Holdings has promoted Simon Button to chief underwriting officer for HCC International.
Mr Button - who joined HCC in 2000 and was most recently head of energy and marine underwriting at the provider - will report to HCC International's CEO Barry Cook.
Mr Cook commented: "Simon's promotion is the result of his outstanding performance and our confidence in his ability to lead our underwriting efforts across HCC's London Market business lines."
Meanwhile, HCC's CEO Christopher Williams added: "The international segment of our business is an important part of HCC's long-term strategy
