Libery Mutual to lead aviation consortium with Ace and Hiscox
Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe (LMIE) is to form a consortium with Ace Global Markets and Hiscox to underwrite aviation insurance.
LMIE, represented by William Halligan, the provider’s head of aviation, will act as leader of the Liberty Mutual Aviation Consortium.
The group will write a specialised portfolio of non-major airline and general aviation business.
Mr Halligan commented: “We are delighted that Ace Global Markets and Hiscox have joined us to provide capacity to the consortium, recognising our leadership in this specialist aviation sector.
