UK General head named on MGAA director board

Peter Hubbard

UK General chief executive Peter Hubbard has been named on the board of directors of The Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA).

RSA managing general agency director Tom Downey has also been appointed to the board, following the body's recent general meeting. 

Mr Hubbard has been confirmed as a full member representative and Downey as representative of the market practitioner members.

According to the trade body, both were elected for two-year terms and the positions were uncontested.

It added that Mr Hubbard will also chair the MGAA's executive and finance committee while Mr Downey will join its membership benefits
