Biba and Kingsbridge pair up to launch PI scheme for freelancers
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has launched a professional indemnity scheme for freelance professionals in conjunction with Kingsbridge Professional Solutions.
The scheme, designed for freelancers, contractors and consultants mainly working as sole traders or limited companies, is available exclusively to Biba members.
James Ledingham, head of strategy and operations at Kingsbridge, said:“In the current climate, this is the fastest growing sector of workers with over 1.56 million freelancers operating in 2012.
“We have devised a scheme specifically for the freelancers’ business needs, at a price that is competitive and are delighted to offer this
