Giles creates 117 jobs in Wales with £7.3m investment

Giles Insurance Brokers has created 117 new jobs in Wales with the help of a £1.3m grant from the Welsh Assembly.

The broker itself is investing £6m in a project that will see the centralisation of its micro-SME business into a dedicated centre in Llantrisant, South Wales.

Mike Jones, regional managing director for Wales at Giles, said: “We thought by consolidating that type of business into a centre that can deal with it, we could free up branches to focus on other things and allow them to expand. That’s the main objective.”
