Catlin weighing up "alternative means" for UK business

Lloyd's insurer Catlin is considering "alternative means" of handling its UK regional business.

Sister title Post reported that the provider is to cut between 10 and 25 roles in a bid to drive change in the UK. 

A Catlin spokesman confirmed to Insurance Age: "This business is important to Catlin but remains a small part of our business portfolio

"We remain committed to providing high quality speciality insurance products for our UK regional clients.

"We are currently considering alternative means of developing and servicing UK regional business, I can't say what those alternatives are."
