Aviva to close 13 regional branches

Aviva is to close 13 branches across the UK and replace their service with 50 extra Broker ONsite Underwriting Solutions (BONUS) locations.

The decision will see nearly half of the insurer's 30 offices closing over the next two years.

The provider listed the affected branches as being:

Aberdeen
Brighton
Cardiff
Cheltenham
Edinburgh
Jersey
Maidstone
Nottingham
Oxford
Plymouth
Preston
Reading
Swansea

It will retain its six regional hubs, nine provincial branches and two national trading centres and staff were informed of the plans today.
