Axa UK and Ireland broker GI revenue creeps down 4.1%
Axa confirms that it has looked to push rates up for both commercial and personal lines.
Axa UK and Ireland saw its brokered general insurance revenue for the third quarter this year edge down to 4.1% to €791m [£674.2m] compared to the same period last year.
Overall, for the first nine months of the year, the provider's UK and Ireland brokered revenue fall to €2.96bn from the €3.15bn recorded in 2012.
As for UK and Ireland personal lines, rates edged up 2.7% for the first nine months of the year while commercial lines posted 4% increases.
