Scottish independence would have "significant impact" on insurance

Scottish independence has implications for financial services sector.

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) has stated that Scotland becoming an independent country would have a “significant impact” on financial services, including the insurance industry.

According to a paper published by the IFoA, the result of the September 2014 independence referendum will have an effect on regulation of the financial services sector and its future growth.
