Petplan boss Brettell to head Allianz Retail
New chief has been with insurer since 2007.
Allianz Insurance has appointed Neil Brettell to the role of general manager, retail, with effect from 1 January 2014.
The position had become vacant when Jon Dye stepped up to the CEO role at Allianz in June to replace Andrew Torrance.
Brettell joined Allianz in September 2007 as commercial director for Allianz Personal.
Following the creation of the retail division, he initially took responsibility for market management and direct.
