RSA Ireland adds warning to annual results after claims and finance issues

Provider warns on impact of investigation as it delivers annual filings.

RSA Ireland has taken the unusual step of issuing an additional statement with its annual report for the year ended 31 December 2012.

The provider highlighted that its financial statements had been approved by the board on 29 April 2013.

"Since then issues in the Irish claims and finance functions have been identified," it added.
