Giles integration cost Gallagher £1.6m in 2013
Profit for its brokerage segment soared to $204.8m [£123.4m] during 2013.
AJ Gallagher has confirmed in the group financial results for the US company that the cost so far of integrating Giles has reached $2.7m [£1.6m].
Last year's most high-profile acquisition saw the consolidator swoop for Giles in a cash deal worth £233m.
Gallagher stated that profit for its brokerage segment came in at $204.8m for 2013, up on the $155.8m recorded the previous year.
