Government hosts meeting with insurance leaders to discuss how the industry is helping people affected by the floods.
Axa underwriting boss David Williams has said that he hopes today's government meeting with insurers will provide "greater insight" into how the industry is handling the claims process in the aftermath of severe UK flooding.
The meeting at midday will include both Williams and Axa colleague Paul Evans, UK and Ireland CEO, who is chairman of the general insurance committee of the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
