Ex-Zurich chief Norgrove takes on vacant CEO role at RSA Ireland
Norgrove replaces Philip Smith who left during claims and finance crisis.
RSA Insurance Ireland has appointed Ken Norgrove as chief executive officer, subject to approval by the Central Bank.
The role had been filled on an interim basis by Adrian Brown after the dramatic resignation of Philip Smith.
Smith left the insurer claiming he had been made the "fall guy" when claims and finance issues were uncovered at the Irish operation in November last year.

Initially RSA was forced to inject £70m into the business. However the situation soon led to the resignation
