JM Glendinning in joint venture with Townends Insurance Brokers
Glendinning MD Houghton describes deal as "toe in the water" for broker's first acquisition.
JM Glendinning has entered into a joint venture with Townends Insurance Brokers, Insurance Age can reveal.
The Leeds-based broker, headed by former Broker Network boss Nick Houghton, completed the deal last month.
Townends - which has been part of Townends Chartered Accountants - will now become JMG Townends under the newly-formed JM Glendinning group. Its director and co-owner Adam Verney is also now part of the business.
