RSA appoints Whittaker as COO to lead on disposals

New COO will take on responsibility for broker relationships.

RSA has appointed Paul Whittaker as group chief operating officer.

In his new role, Whittaker will lead the company’s strategic disposals which are being made with the aim of raising £300m in 2014.

In addition, he will be in charge of bringing together the IT, global specialty lines, underwriting, claims and broker relationships/sales operations, all of which will report to him.
