Aon’s profits rise 25% to $325m
Broker giant sees revenue increase to $2.9m in the first quarter of 2014.
Aon has reported profit of $325m [£193.3m] for the first three months of the year, up from $261m in the same period of 2013.
The broker also saw revenue rise 1% to $2.95bn (Q1 2013: $2.92bn).
The retail section of Aon's risk solutions arm saw a 1% rise in commissions and fees to $1.58bn with the division overall achieving $1.99bn in revenue.
The division's operating income for the three month period was up 10% at $445m (Q1 2013: $403m).
