Gallagher appoints new regional MD

Oval man to replace Paula Williams in the role.

Arthur J Gallagher has appointed Steve Penketh to the role of regional managing director for the North West region, Insurance Age has learned.

Penketh previously held the same role at Oval, which was bought by Gallagher in April 2014.

He replaces Paula Williams in the role, whose departure was revealed by Insurance Age earlier this week.

Penketh will retain responsiblity for the broker’s Liverpool office.
