AA insurance arm sees revenue slip

Ebitda also falls as overall group operating profit goes down following IPO.

The AA's insurance arm has reported revenue of £73.3m for the year ended July 2014, down more than £2m from the £75.5m reported in 2013.

Ebitda for insurance was also down, falling from £44.4m last year to £41.6m. The number of policies in force also slipped to 2,222,000 from 2,447,000.

The AA blamed the falling revenues on lower income from fewer motor insurance customers compared to the six months last year.
