Lockton buys Griffiths & Armour’s Glasgow business
Move to build Scottish operation continues for Lockton.
Lockton has bought the Glasgow general insurance business of Griffiths & Armour for an undisclosed sum.
The move follows the recent hires of Gordon Duncan, Gordon McLagan and Nichola Martin with the broker stating its intention to grow in the Scottish corporate insurance market.
The firm stated that the deal, which sees it opening in Glasgow by taking over Griffiths & Armour's office, will complement its professional and financial lines business in Edinburgh which is led by Lorraine Boyle.
