Axa focuses on mid-market in Ipswich

Alex Turner appointed sales manager with remit to focus on developing insurers mid-market proposition.

Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary has appointed Alex Turner as sales manager for its Ipswich branch.

The insurer said the appointment forms part of a renewed focus on the mid-market sector.

Turner, formerly an account manager in the branch, takes on the role following the departure of Iain Hill, who joined Axa's's Glasgow branch as sales manager earlier this year.

He will lead a team of three account managers and two development underwriters. Turner will be responsible for managing
