Admiral Group's Q3 turnover down 3% to £513m

UK car insurance also fell by 5% to £419m in Q3 as company anticipates more difficulties ahead.

Admiral Group's turnover for the third quarter of 2014 was £513m representing a three percent fall on the £528m it made during the same period last year.

The company also experienced a decline in its UK car insurance turnover which fell by five percent from £440m in the third quarter of 2013 to £419m for the same period this year.

Chief executive officer Henry Engelhardt raised the spectre of more difficult times ahead following the year-on-year third quarter falls revealed by the firm's interim
