Aviva creates tech forum
Insurer organises ‘meet-ups’ to develop insurance technology after noticing “explosion” of FinTech in London and “seeing a gap” in the market.
Aviva has created an Insurance Tech Meet-Up Group to foster the development of FinTech (financial technology) after "seeing a gap" in the market, Insurance Age can reveal.
The insurer has already held several Insurance Tech Meet-Up Groups this year, at various creative tech locations across London.
It has also hosted two 'hackathon' weekend events - one at Innovation Warehouse (Smithfield's Market), and one at Google Campus.
