Former RSA Ireland CEO takes insurer to tribunal
Philip Smith alleges constructive dismissal concerning his resignation in November 2013.
Philip Smith, the former RSA Ireland chief executive, has taken a case to the Employment Appeals Tribunal in Dublin alleging constructive dismissal against the insurer, The Irish Times has reported.
The case relates to his resignation from the firm on 28 November 2013 when he left the business without a severance payment.
The situation arose when an internal audit by RSA identified concerns in its Irish claims and finance functions which led to Smith, and CFO Rory O'Connor and claims director
