IIG launches airside liability product
Policy set-up to 'help regional brokers grow their businesses'.
Incorporated Insurance Group (IIG) has launched a new contractor insurance product for airside liability.
The product provides cover for contractors who are required to work in any area of the airport with restricted access such as the terminals, taxiways and runways.
To work in these areas contractors need to provide evidence of insurance cover when applying for an airside operators licence, but the insurer said that airside cover was usually excluded from liability policies.
