QBE promotes O'Farrell to CUO of its European operations
Insurer aims to strengthen its operating model with new role.
QBE has appointed Colin O'Farrell to the newly created position of chief underwriting officer for its European operations.
The insurer said the creation of the new role was part of a move to significantly strengthen its business performance and technical excellence.
