QBE targets SME market with trade credit
Trade credit threshold reduced to £15,000 as insurer looks to grow in mid-market and attract more SME business.
QBE has lowered its trade credit premium threshold to £15,000 in a move to grow its presence in mid-market and attract businesses in the SME market.
The insurer said it was planning to recruit four underwriters in the coming months in order to support its growth plans and added: "This investment in key personnel follows the success of the recent expansion of the trade credit portfolio's selective and key account policy.
