Extranets “have had their day”
Ageas’ Allison Hughes says extranets have a place but way forward is comparative systems.
Ageas' head of digital trading, Allison Hughes has told Insurance Age that comparative systems, not extranets, will be dominant as e-trade develops.
Hughes who was recently transferred from the Ageas distribution team to head up digital trading, with a focus on developing SME commented: "I think relatively soon most extranets - unless they are for a specialist scheme - will have their day.
