Brokers unsurprised by Egan RSA move

Market does not believe move indicates further troubles at Towergate.

Brokers in the market were not surprised by the news that Scott Egan, interim CEO of Towergate, would leave the consolidator to take on the group chief financial officer role at RSA.

Ashwin Mistry, chairman of Brokerbility, told Insurance Age: "Nothing surprises me these days. There is a constant revolving door and people are trying to secure their best outcome.

"There is a lot of volatility, a lot of ambiguity in the market and I think the sooner people settle down and get back to their day
