Independent's scheme of arrangement sanctioned

Liquidators announce that High Court has approved plan and it will be effective from 13 July.

Mark Batten and Dan Schwarzmann of PwC, joint provisional liquidators of Independent Insurance Company have announced that Independent's scheme of arrangement has been sanctioned by the High Court and is effective from today (13 July).

In accordance with the scheme of arrangement, the deadline for submitting claims will be 5pm (London time) on 11 January 2016.
