Police investigate data loss at RSA

Stolen data device contained information about thousands of Lloyds Bank customers.

Police are investigating a data loss at RSA which could have affected thousands of Lloyds Premier account customers.

RSA has confirmed that a storage device containing information about some of its customers is missing and has been reported stolen.

The insurer became aware that the device was missing on 30 July and an RSA spokeswoman highlighted that no data had as of yet been misused.
