Principal buys motor broking business from Marsh

All six staff at the Kendal-based office are transferring with the business.

Principal Insurance has purchased the Kendal-based specialist motor broking business from Marsh for an undisclosed sum.

The broker said that all six Marsh colleagues, including general manager Kat Blayden-Byrne, had transferred with the business, which will continue to trade from Kendal, supported by resources from Principal's Manchester headquarters.

The business was previously known as Peart Insurance Brokers and was owned by Principal chairman Damian Keeling before he sold it to Central
