Das Legal Expenses posts a loss of £232,000 for 2014 and reduction in GWP and COR hits 100.3%.

Das Legal Expenses has posted a loss for the year ending 31 December 2014 of £232,000 following a restated profit of £2.6m in 2013 shown in the profit and loss account.

Gross premiums written also fell from £159,319,000 to £142,308,000.' This drop meant that total technical income fell from £100.7m to £91.2m.

This in addition to a change in the gross provision for claims from £2.8m to £1.5m contributed to a loss of £232,000 on the overall balance on the technical account for general business

Industry reacts to discount rate change
