Tracey McDermott rules herself out as FCA chief
McDermott does not want to stay on as full-time FCA CEO.
Chancellor George Osborne has revealed that Tracey McDermott does not want to lead the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on a permanent basis.
McDermott has been chief executive officer of the regulator on an interim basis since the previous incumbent Martin Wheatley stepped down on 12 September 2015.
Over the weekend McDermott was tipped to be handed the position on a permanent basis.

However, in an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today programme Osborne said she was not interested in taking
