Aviva's UKGI operating profit falls to £368m in 2015
The insurer posts stable GWP and COR figures.
Aviva's general insurance division in the UK made an operating profit of £368m during 2015 which was down from £455m in the preceding year.
The provider's gross written premium (GWP) last year was £3.97bn compared to £3.93bn in 2014.
In 2015 Aviva's personal lines business recorded GWP of £2.25bn (2014: £2.23bn) while the commercial branch posted £1.71bn (2014: £1.69bn).
The insurer recorded an underwriting result of £154m (2014: £199m) with a combined operating ratio of 95.1% (2014: 94.8%).
