John Blundell to leave deputy CEO role at Covéa

Former managing director of Sterling came on board in 2006.

John Blundell, deputy chief executive of Covéa Insurance will be leaving the business at the end of May the insurer has confirmed.

He joined Sterling Insurance Group as managing director in 2006 and was at the helm when the high net worth specialist was bought by Covéa in February 2015.

The provider noted that since the acquisition, Blundell has played "a key role" in the creation of a combined business.
