Aviva confident of growth despite Brexit

CEO Mark Wilson says it is too early to quantify impact of leaving EU but insurer is predicting mid-single digit growth.

Aviva is set to predict mid-single digit growth in the medium term as it presents to investors in the wake of the Brexit vote with CEO Mark Wilson insisting the insurer is "confident we can continue to grow".

Wilson commented: "Aviva's fundamentals are sound. Our balance sheet is strong and resilient and we are a simpler, focused group with excellent franchises.
